Maclay Make a Move on the City

Award winning bar and restaurant operator Maclay Inns has today, Wednesday 8th May 2013, announced its acquisition of the Grahamston Bar on Waterloo Street, Glasgow.

The acquisition of Grahamston, named after Glasgow's forgotten underground city, marks Maclay's first venture in to the heart of Glasgow city centre. The group also operates The Lee, next to Strathclyde University, as well as the Lansdowne, DRAM!, Three Judges and Munro's in the west end of Glasgow and the Bank Café Bar and Clockwork Beer Co in the south side of the city.

Cafe Gandolfi Pops Up At The Bank

One of Glasgow's most iconic restaurants is making its way to the south side for one weekend only as Café Gandolfi Pops Up at The Bank on Clarkston Road from Friday 10th May – Sunday 12th May.

Over the course of the weekend, famed Glasgow restaurateur Seumas MacInnes and his chefs from Café Gandolfi will be joining the team at The Bank, part of the award winning Maclay Inns group, giving south side foodies the chance to enjoy a taste of Gandolfi in the comfort of their own back yard.

Sales At Maclay Inns Steady As Company Forges Ahead With Expansion Plans

Scottish bar operator Maclay Group has today, 2 April 2013, announced its financial results for year end 29 September 2012 with sales across the group on par with 2011 at £10.4m while operating profits remained steady against 2011 at £0.7m.
